Model Based Issue Management works with Active Folders in Interaxo. There are some settings that needs to be turned on for it to work and some prerequisites.
Prerequisites
In Interaxo you will need
-
A simple folder containing the IFC model files you want to relate issues to. This can be just a single model or multiple, for cross-disciplinary design collaboration.
-
An Active folder with workflow. This will contain the issues themselves which will relate to the models in the simple folder.
Settings - how to turn on Model Based Issue Management for an Active Folder
First, the setting needs to be enabled in the community (contact support if it isn’t). When the community feature is enabled, the option of using model based issues will appear under the top level folder settings.
BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) fields
In order for the export and import of BCF to work there are certain fields that needs to be set up. Today these needs to be named in an exact manner in order for the export/import to work properly. Note that the active folder used with model-based case management can have more fields than just those listed here, but you cannot have additional mandatory fields beyond those included in the BCF standard if you want to use the BCF import functionality.

BCF (BIM Collaboration Format) steps/statuses
In the BCF standard you can have multiple statuses that will match the steps in the active folder used in model based issue management. The following statuses are supported when using BCF in Interaxo:
Open
Assigned
Active
Resolved
Closed
Other statuses than these will not work for importing/exporting BCF files.
Limitations
Only simple folders can be used for models, no active folders.
Revisioning/publishing or Visual Board functionality cannot be used with the issue folder.
