New release for Bimeye 

It is recommended that every Bimeye-user preforms a so-called hard reset of the web browser. Usually you can do this by pressing ctrl + f5, but if that doesn’t work please have a look at this. 

Rooms feature released for Bimeye 

• New feature for Bimeye implemented: Rooms 

• Room template implemented 
• Implemented system parameter groups and templates for room descriptions 
• Ability to create (predefine) rooms without initial relation to a model 

Room descriptions 

• Room Number and Room Name are global parameters 
• Separate room parameter groups by a subtype are implemented 
• Filter based on the subtype for Room parameter type 
• Ability to describe rooms with  

• Function - Describes the Functions that should be in the building and the number of rooms, people, areas, and connections/relations to other functions 
• Subfunction - Describes functions of a part of a function, it contains requirements for a specific part of a building 
• Room type - Each Subfunction includes multiple rooms some of them are of the same type and to describe them in an efficient way the user want to be able to describe one Room type/template and then the Room Instances inherit the description from the connected type 
• Objects - User can create article list with an Item and a quantity. Same Item can be placed twice with different quantity 
• Materials - Surface materials can be added to the different surface types in a Room. User can add a Color code and a Painting code to that material 

Room export and import 

• Import and export functions, subfunctions, materials, color, painting, and objects from Microsoft Excel 
• Ability to generate reports including all the system parameter groups above 
• Revisions now available for Rooms, you can create snapshots between different model versions and compare the changes 
• Ability to work in Bimeye with rooms synced from models to add materials and objects 
• Permission settings added for the system parameter groups related to rooms 

NB! Rooms added in Bimeye will not be able to be used in the design tool clients yet, it will be released in the next update for the design tool clients. If you wish to use information added to the rooms in Bimeye inside your models before the update you should create rooms in a model with the design tools and synchronize these rooms and then you can detail them in Bimeye and sync back to the model.

• Views saved in the 3D-viewer now use private/public and permission controls like lists 

Bugfixes 

• Fix for filtering by models and levels from the sidebar 

• Fix for Microsoft Excel export if text values starts with “=“ 
• All empty values in Data grid are grouped in one group and have one and the same empty value and user is be able to filter them all with Empty and Not Empty filters 

Report and reporting services 

• Formatting now supported in Changelog reports - Sorting data in Changelog reports as it is on Data grid 
• Using parameter name commands in Changelog reports 

• Values of unsorted parameters are now displayed in the Changelog report 
• Objects without values on sorted parameter are listed last in the Changelog 
• Creating Revision Reports with snapshots on different models 

Images 

• Support for both images and 3D views for rooms* 

Parameters 

• Bugfix for parameter created if it is named the same as a deleted parameter
