In order for the information that is set to be transferred to and from the Model and Interaxo BIM Data, a Synchronization must be done.

To be able to synchronize with the project to Interaxo BIM Data, a Design Tool Client is needed. The latest version is available on the Interaxo BIM Data web after logging in there, second to the bottom left.

In order for synchronization to also be possible, it needs to be linked to the project on the web, read more.

1. Log in with your login details for Interaxo BIM Data.

2. Click "Sync" and then "Sync Model Metadata".

If no objects are selected in the model, a full synchronization is performed for all objects. Bimeye will also keep track of objects that are added or removed.

If you have one or more objects selected in the model, information about the selected objects is sent and retrieved only.

Often a synchronization takes place after major changes have been made to the model or there is new data that is set to be synchronized to the objects in the model. The frequency of synchronizations varies by project and phase of the project. Do not synchronize after every small change, but think that when it is important to share the information for those who only work with it in Interaxo BIM Data. When syncing and updating the data, there is a small break for those who work with the same data there.

3. Choose "Synchronization" and click "Start".

If the Bimeye project administrator requests a synchronization with properties from the model (for configuring Interaxo BIM Data), select "Send full property content" when synchronizing.

When synchronizing, the 3d model can also be sent to Bimeye. In order for this to be possible during synchronization, select a 3d view in the model and tick "Include model geometry" before clicking Start button.

After you click Start, the synchronization will take place. This also takes a while depending on how many objects with changes there are.

Interaxo BIM Data progress bar shows how the insertion of the data in the project on the web goes. Your model program is now available to continue working in when it is visible.
