New Features and Improvements

Bookmarks

The Grid Lists and Filter has been replaced with Bookmarks. A Bookmark will save settings for selected Model, Level, Phase, State, sorting, grouping and active search filters to columns. This will make it easier for users to share the same settings in the Grid View making it easier to get straight into the BIM Data relevant for you. What information a user can view is controlled by their permissions.

• Before you enter either Grid View or Data & 3D you can now choose which Bookmark to use or make a new one by going into the Filtering tab like how Grid Filters was made before
  • NB! If you would like to make a Bookmark, please avoid using the Skip button since this only will make the old type of Lists

• A Bookmark can be either private or public. Public bookmarks can be shared by copying the Bookmark URL to clipboard

• Old Grid Lists will still be available and if you re-save them, they will now be Bookmarks and include all the new things covered by those. NB! Bookmarks cannot be created from the Full Data Grid Filter by skipping the selection

Data and structure

• Projections are expanded so that you can projectLevel parameters toRooms and Building parameters toLevel/Room and Types
  • Building -> Level -> Room -> Instance

Parameter Groups and Items

• Update Items with Excel import
  • Items can now be updated from an Excelimport. The leading parameter of the group must be in the first column and if you would like to update existing items make sure the leading value for that item is exactly the same as in Bimeye

Project and Administration

• Additional information is added to project data that makes it possible for users to see username of project and companyadmins making it easy to know who to ask for help within the project

• It is now faster tocreatenewprojects, custom, from template or from existing projects

  • Form fields are added to report type, Report including changes to make it similar to the regular Report form

• Objects/Materials with no value on Object/Material Type will be related to a type named “null”

• Predefined Room preset that is used for creating new projects is updated with Building and Level categories

• Fixed issue related to creating Room instance parameters if the project contains Bimeye created rooms belonging to the ‘Undefined’ model
• Permissions
  • Items can now be removed with either config, edit group/edit groups, or admin permission on a single project
  • User cannot access Parameter detail page without configuration permission
  • User with view permissions in Tags view now get a message that they don't have the required permissions, existing tags are still available
  • User with view data permission is now able to create a Snapshot
  • Parameter group buttons now look disabled based on permissions
  • Open Data grid with link from Edit subitem form is now covered by permissions
  • Add Rooms permissions are updated, users needs to have either edit data on project level, edit data on ‘Undefined’ model and edit parameter groups on project level to be able to add a Room
  • Accessing permission page on a project, required permissions are updated
  • Permissions to edit object quantity and unbind items are now adjusted to require "Edit" on Objects/Materials or "Edit parameter groups"
  • Tooltips are updated
