In order to be able to describe data on objects in the model in Interaxo BIM Data, this must be linked to the project on Interaxo BIM Data web and synchronized there.

Create model endpoints

Step one is to create connection endpoints in the project (if not already existing) on the Interaxo BIM Data web. 

Under Actions & models on Interaxo BIM Data web you will find "Models", click there on "Create".

Associate model in design software

From the model with the add in, the model can be connected (associated) to the prepared connection points on Interaxo BIM Data web and project.

Start by logging in. If you have access to several projects at different Companys, choose the right Company.

Then go to Settings and then Model Settings.

Click Select.

The project will appear in the dialogue. Click on the plus sign to see the model or models you can connect to. If a name here is light gray, that model is already connected and can not be connected to.

Select the name of the model you want to connect and then click Associate.

Here, if your user is connected to several projects at the Company, you will see these.

The model is now associated. Click Save and then save your design model so that the association is saved for the future.

Now your model is connected to the project. Don't forget to save (sync with central file) your model so that the connection information is saved in the file and available to everyone in your model project.

Now you can synchronize your model.
