The geographic filter narrows placements to a circular area you draw on the map. It works alongside the other filter types - column filters and the free-text search, covered in W2: Find, Filter, and Follow Up on Registrations (Interaxo Capture) and Using the features in Process - Interaxo Project.
Filter by a geographic area
- Open a process grid and switch to split view or full placement view so the map is visible.
- Click the geographic filter icon in the toolbar.
- The map will enter a search mode where a circle appears on the map.
- Navigate the map so that the circle covers the area of interest.
- Confirm the area by clicking Select area.
- The list and the map viewer both narrow to entries inside the circle.
Remove the geographic filter
Click the geographic filter icon a second time to re-filter the area, or remove it entirely from the active filter summary above the list. If removed the list will be un-filtered and the placements on the map adjust accordingly.
Tips
- Use the geographic filter when location matters more than content. For projects spanning multiple sites, drawing a circle around one site narrows everything to that site in one click.
- The geographic filter stacks with column filters and search. Combine them to answer specific questions, such as all open deviations within 200 metres of the site office.
- The search area is approximate. Placements at the very edge of the circle might be left outside.
