Export
1. Click 'Excel' in top menu and then 'Export'.
Exported Excel file
Created Excel file will automatically be downloaded and be where you have said in your browser they should be downloaded.
The Excel export will also be available under Reports in Interaxo BIM Data.
Export rules and remarks
Multiline parameters are exported from the Data grid and Parameter group items without tags and formatting.
When importing the exported Excel file with removed tags and formatting, values will be edited in the Data grid and Parameter group items - formatting will be removed. So be very careful when working with Multiline parameters and Excel import as it will remove any formatting including things like lines breaks.
Images will not be exported to Excel.
Import
With excel import, you can update data on parameters using excel. You can update data that you have the right to handle in the project.
1. Click on 'Excel' in top menu and then 'Import'
2. Drag n drop Excel file or click to select file,
3. Then click 'Ok' for import.
4. When the import is complete, an excel is created that is downloaded automatically where you can see which data was updated. The updated information is denoted here with a green background color.
You can download a Template from where you upload your excel, but a tip is to create a grid and create a Bookmark with the data you want to be able to edit and see in excel. Use this grid to export and later update the data with that formatting.
