New rich text editor

Our tool for writing rich text inside comments, instructions and rich text fields has been upgraded to a completely new version. We are working on features for supporting images in comments and internal commenting and to be able to deliver continuous improvements based on feedback from our customers this upgrade enables us to go forward. The rich text editor is also planned to replace the existing one in the admin client and in our Visual boards soon.

Tree structure navigation in the IFC viewer

If your IFC model contains information about object hierarchy, levels, rooms or categories you can now navigate using this information within our IFC viewer. It will help you find and filter out information more quickly than only using your mouse to move around in the model. In the example below the view shows a filter and isolation of all doors in the building.  

Link your issues to the IFC model

When creating all kind of issues in Interaxo Project there is now an option to link the issue to the model or objects in the model. That will help the project participants to easily document and collaborate around the issue and help solving the issues faster with better knowledge about the real problem.

When inside an entry you will find a button that says “Link to model”

The first time you will be asked to select your default IFC files to load when entering the viewer. It could be a single IFC file or multiple. Often customers have both discipline models and a complete IFC model stored in a separate folder. Then you also can select the folder itself.

When the model(s) has loaded in the viewer you have the “Link” button up in the right corner. You can link as many times you want.

Every time you link, a snapshot of the view is stored in the entry in Interao. When you click on the model link snapshot you will be directed to the viewer, the model is loaded, and the snapshot will automatically direct you to the view where you took the snapshot originally.

Invite member improvement

Previously when inviting members, the member picker always loaded the complete community list and for customer having many members it could take a while to load that list. From now on we use search in our member picker that really makes a difference regarding performance when inviting members.
