Download the app
The app can be downloaded in App Store (for iOS) or Play Store (Android). The functionality is the same for both versions. It works on both phones and tablets.
Basic navigation
Select community
When you log in, you need to select a community, if you are a member of more than one. You can use the text filter to find the right one if desired.
Select room
After selecting a community, you need to select a room. You can use the text filter to find the right one if desired. The next time you open the app, you will be taken directly to this room.
Room navigation
The folders are sorted on last changed by default, but you can change the sorting, which will apply for all yellow folders during that session.
You can use the folder tree to navigate back in the folder structure after navigating into a folder (swipe it if required to go further back).
Features
Download file
Use the download button to download a file to your device. Please note that this is a straight download functionality, which does not give you offline access to anything inside the app itself.
Use this feature (available under the option menu)to copy a link that can be used for accessing the room/folder/file/entry in either the app or on the webpage. Note that this is just a URL, that still requires access to the content, the same was as if you copy the URL in the browser.
View files
By clicking a file, you open it in the viewer. Most common file formats are supported. IFC files open in the BIM viewer, which is described below.
View earlier version
We always open latest version of a file by default, but you can access previous versions when inside the viewer.
More info
Under Properties, you can see the basic info regardign the file, such as creator, last modifier, upload/edit date and so on.
Comments
The comments tab is available for both files and entries. Just click the comment Here you can access existing comments, as well as create new ones (or edit/delete your own comments). You can also format your comments with the text editor.
BIM viewer
2D/3D view
IFC files are opened in the BIM viewer. When the IFC model contains storey information, Interaxo generates a 2D view automatically, which is used for navigating faster in the model. You can tap or swipe the slider to switch between the split view or full 3D/2D.
Measurements
You can also take measurements by clicking the ruler icon and then tapping two points on the screen. Note that this is an approximation. We are working on a more precise version of this tool for the future, so stay tuned. :)
Section plane tool
To create a section plane, just click the scissors icon and tap any object, such as a wall or roof. You can then use the joystick to move the plane.
Active folders
Folder view
By default, you are taken to the "all" step, but you can use the step selector to filter on one specific step.
Secondary Field
You can also select any field in the folder as a secondary field for the folder view. This is done under the filter menu. This field will show in the overview, as well as be included in the search results when you use the text filter inside the folder (which means you search for title and secondary field at once). The secondary field will be remembered for any specific folder where you activate it.
Entry view
Inside the entry you can swipe sideways to switch between properties, attachment or comments. You can view and download files in entries the same way as any other files, and use the comments in the same way as desribed above. You also have the copy link functionality available here.
Open links directly in the app
The app supports opening links (like for instance Interaxo's nightly reports) directly in the app instead of in the browser. This works best with Chrome on Android and Safari on iOS (as is generally the case for both platforms with most apps).
