In this article, you’ll learn how to navigate and use the key features of Interaxo Insights – from the top and side menus to filtering, charts, and report exports. The goal is to give you an overview and insight into process data so you can more easily track project progress and costs.
Note! The information explained below applies regardless of which process you are working with.
Top and Left side Menu

In the top menu, you can perform the following actions:

Switch between your available Workspaces and Areas

Click the workspace name in the top-left corner to see a list of all workspaces and areas you are a member of.

Return to your other rooms
-

Click “Open my rooms” in the top-right corner. This will open a new tab that takes you back to the Interaxo Project homepage for the area you are currently in.

-
View your profile
-

-
By clicking the profile icon in the top-right corner, you can:

Access your Interaxo profile to change user settings (language, login email, etc.)
-
View the terms of use for Interaxo solutions
-
Log out of the solution
-

In the side menu, you can:

Switch to other product areas – Process Management and Model
-
When Insights is selected, you’ll see a list of your processes:

Select the desired process to display relevant insights and details.
-
-
-
At the bottom of the side menu, there are two arrow buttons. Use these to collapse the side panel for more screen space.

Working Area
Workspace Filtering Panel
In the filtering panel, you can filter information based on the following values:
-
Process folder (contract)
-
Process step
-
Project impact
-
Settlement type
-
Date
For each data category, you can select one or more values to tailor the content to your needs. This allows you to combine data across process steps and contracts. For the Date filter, you can choose intervals such as: Last 24 hours, Last week, Last 1, 3, or 6 months, Or set a custom date range.

To apply a filter:
-
- Click the desired filter value
-
Check one or more boxes
-
Click outside the dropdown – the content updates automatically
-
To clear filters:
Click the “Clear filters” button at the top right of the filtering panel.
You can also remove individual filters by clicking the symbol next to each value.
Pie Chart
The pie chart gives a quick overview of how entries are distributed across steps and the criticality level (shown using colors and labels). The data shown reflects the filters applied in the filter panel.

How to interact with the pie chart:

Expand view – Click the
button to make the chart full screen. Click
to return to normal view.

View entry count – Hover over a segment to display the number of entries.
You can also see the count in parentheses after contract or impact names, e.g., “Progress (2)”. - Detailed view – Click a chart segment to open a new tab with a detailed list of related entries.

Bar Chart (with related list view)
The bar chart shows actual extra costs or delays per contract. Each bar represents a contract party.
How to interact with the bar chart:

Expand view – Click the
button to make the chart full screen. Click
to return to normal view.

View delay or cost – Hover over a bar to see the delay or cost amount.

Detailed view – Click a bar to open a detailed list in a new tab.
How to interact with the associated list view:

Expand view – Click the
button to make the chart full screen. Click
to return to normal view.

Sorting – Click column headers to sort (alphabetically for text, low-to-high for numbers).
-
Search – Use the search field in each column to find specific entries.
-
Detailed view – Click on an entry to open its details in a new browser tab.

Days in Current Step
The list view provides an overview of all entries in the project and how many days each has been in its current step. It also shows:

Current step
-
Entry ID
-
Title
-
Creation date
How to interact with the list view:

Expand view – Click the
button to make the chart full screen. Click
to return to normal view.

Sorting – Click column headers to sort.
-
Search – Use column search fields.
-
Detailed view – Click an entry to open it in a new tab.

Overview Summary
This summary provides a quick snapshot of the difference between estimated and actual values for cost and progress.

Estimated time/cost total (days) – Shows the estimated impact of created changes.

Actual time/cost total (days) – Shows the actual impact of those changes.
-
Difference between estimated and actual values – Displays the variance for completed changes.
Export
- Click the “Export” button
to download a PDF report of the insights generated.
TIP! Use the filter panel first to tailor the report content for your target audience. The PDF will reflect the currently active filters.
Reset Filters
- Click the “Clear filters” button
to remove all active filters from the insights view.
Refresh Content
- Click the “Refresh page” button
to update the view and include any newly added or updated entries.
