Navigate to an Entry
- Go into the desired process (e.g. “Change Requests”).
- Click a row in the list view.
You are then taken to the detail page for the entry, as shown in the image.
At the top you see:
- Breadcrumb (name of process and title of the entry).
- Action buttons: Edit, step (e.g. “Sent to client for review”), Open in room and More options (…).
Edit the Entry
- Click Edit in the upper left corner.
Update the desired fields, for example:
- Title
- Description
- Cause
- Consequence
- Settlement type
- Cost estimate
- Estimated time (days)
- Save the changes.
The entry is updated immediately in the process.
Instruction
The Instructions field is used to provide practical guidance to the person processing the entry. Write briefly and specifically what needs to be done. Use simple sentences or bulleted text if there are multiple subtasks.
The actual text in the instruction field is set up by an administrator, and can therefore vary from customer to customer and from project to project.
Change Step / Status for the Entry
- Next to Edit you see a button showing the current step, e.g.
“Sent to client for review”. - Click this button.
- Select a new step from the drop‑down list.
- The system moves the entry to the selected step.
This is used to control where in the workflow the entry is located.
Work with Comments, Attachments and Location
On the right side of the page you find a panel with three tabs: Location, Attachments and Comments.
Comments
- Click the Comments tab (highlighted in the screenshot).
- You see two subtabs:
- Comments – visible to all relevant users.
- Internal comments – for internal use only (depends on permissions/setup).
- To add a comment:
- Go to the correct subtab.
- Type your text in the “Write a comment” field at the bottom.
- Send/save the comment.
The comments are linked to this specific entry and provide traceable dialogue.
Attachments
- Click the Attachments tab.
- Here you can:
- Upload new files (drawings, images, documents).
- Download existing attachments linked to the entry.
- Use the upload button to add new files.
Location
You can link an entry to a specific object in the model or a point on the map so it becomes visible in the location view.
- Click the Location tab.
- You will then see the 3D model or map showing the position/object for this entry.
- Use the tools to:
- Navigate in the model or map.
- See where the entry is placed.
- Optionally update/change the placement.
Click “Add placement” to open the location viewer and, if needed, change the placement.
How to add a specific placement:
- Click “Add placement” on the right side of the page.
- A location viewer opens in a new window.
- Navigate to the desired object in the model or to the correct point in the map.
- Click the object to select it or point on the map.
- Confirm the placement by clicking the Confirm button in the lower right corner.
- A location image is added to the entry as information.
Open Entry in the Room
- Click Open in room in the upper right corner.
- Interaxo opens the entry in the associated room in Interaxo Project Classic (classic Interaxo view).
- From here you can use room functions such as folder structure, other documents, etc.
More options (… menu)
- Click the … menu button in the upper right corner.
- Here you will find the option to delete the entry.
Note! Special permissions are required to be allowed to delete an entry.
