There is a size limit for files in Interaxo Project. This is 5GB, and you will receive an info message if you try to upload a file larger than this.
However, there are some steps that can be taken to move forward with a large file anyway.
1. compress the file
You can try to compress a file by packing it, often this is called a zip.
This is done by right-clicking on a file and selecting the option to compress.
After compression, hopefully the file has become smaller, and you can upload the compressed .zip file to Interaxo Project.
2. split the file
If it was not enough to compress the file to a zip then it is possible to split a file into several files.
You can use third-party tools, such as 7Zip, WinRAR, WinZip, or others.
These tools have the ability to compress a file/folder and then at the same time set a file size limit. The tool will then compress and when it reaches the limit you have set (recommended 4GB) it will start on a new part until this also reasches the limit or until everything that is to be compressed is finished packed.
When everything is done, you will have a number of files that belong together, and these can be uploaded to Interaxo Project as they are all each under 5GB.
To extract these, you must download all the files from Interaxo Project, and they must be in the same folder so that you can extract them to your original file/folder.
