Accessing the Data & 3D
1. Enter the Data & 3D by clicking on
2. Click in order to access all project data or apply a grid filter before viewing the data.
Models and levels
1. In order to view data connected to different models or leveles click on
2. Opt in the models/levels desired.
3. In this dialog there is also a option to filter data depending on status. Only objects belonging to selected status will be shown in the data grid.
The grid view
The main difference in the this feature is that the objects in the data grid view are visualized in 3D. Read more about the data grid here 🔗.
When using the filtering function or selecting the objects in the grid these objects will also be marked in the 3D-model.
Controlling the 3D-model.
Single selection are done by using the left mouse button clicking on a object that belongs to a activated category.
Multi selection can be performed (none of the "controlling" functions are activated) by holding down the left mouse button and realesing over the area of interest.
Multi selection can also be performed by holding down Ctrl when clicking with the left mouse button on several objects.
When the orbit function is activated the left mouse button is used for orbiting and the right mouse button is used for panning.
When the pan function is activated the left mouse button is used for panning and the right mouse button is used for orbiting.
When the zoom function is activ
ated the left mouse button is used for zooming in and out and the right mouse button is used for panning.
First person navigation
When this feature is activated following keys are used for navigating in the model.
Controlling when none of the controls are activated in the menu
Panning is done by holding down the scroll wheel.
Rotation is done by holding down Shift + right mouse button.
Multi selection is done by holding down the left mouse button, dragging and releasing.
The section box
In order to ajust the section box drag and drop the blue arrows that appears around the box boundaries.
By clicking with the right mouse button after selection of objects a context menu are shown with options.
Hide objects will simply hide the selected objects which are shown again by accssing the context menu again and clikcing on Show objects.
Isolate objects will blur the none selected objects. In order to restore the isolation by click Restore isolated.
A section box can be creatad to align the selected obects by clicking Section Box. It is removed by clicking on Remove S-Box in the context menu.
