See available users on account and active in the project
- From the gear icon in the upper right corner of the project (available to Project Administrator)
- In the project list from the account level (available to Account Administrator)
- Click Users
(You'll see all users inside the account) - All users who are checked have access to the project
- Click Users
To add a user to the project, this can be done in 2 simple steps. Whether both steps need to be performed depends on whether the user already exists in the system or is a completely new user. For a user who already has an IX Field user in the system at account level, it will only be necessary to do step 1.
Step 1 - Check and add existing user from account level
(Section 1 is done to check whether the user is already in the system. If the user does not appear in the list view, move to step 2. )
-
Search by name or email in the top right corner of the search bar.
(Cannot find the user? Go to step 2.) - Check the user under the column "Member".
- Change the role from "Project user" to "Project administrator" if the user should have overall rights in the project. This can be changed on under the "Role" column.
(Administrator - the role is intended for the project administration or builder as it provides access across the user groups) - To determine what accesses/rights the user should have. Click on the icon under the column actions.
- Select the user group for the user.
(For rights management per user group, read more here.)
Step 2 - Add new user via "+ Add user"
- Click on "+ Add user".
- Enter the user's email address.
- Fill in the user information (Full name, tlf.nr, language, etc.)
- Change the role from "Project user" to "Project administrator" if the user should have overall rights in the project.
(Administrator - the role is intended for the project administration or builder as it provides access across the user groups) - To determine what rights the user should have. Select the desired user group for the user. (For rights management per user group, read more here.)
- Confirm sending the invitation by pressing "invite".
- To verify that the invitation has been sent. Look for an envelope symbol behind the name under the "actions" column.
- The user must approve the invitation in the email and determine a strong password
(Capital letter, number, and a symbol). - The user is now ready to start using IX Field WEB / APP .
Checkpoint - Make sure invitation is accepted / Send a new invitation
If you want to check whether a user has accepted the invitation, you can go into the user list and check.
Until the user has accepted the invitation, there will be an "envelope symbol" behind the user's name. Should it turn out that the user cannot find back to the invitation or that the invitation has expired, then a user with admin rights can send out a new invitation by clicking on the icon.
