Now it's easier to find a drawing!

Through our new functionality, your project can label drawings to use as a basis in the app for filtering in the drawing list. Filter within relevant categories and the path to the desired drawing becomes much easier.

The labels are set up in Interaxo Field Web. Contact your project administrator to get in your project.

This update contains new functionality and several improvements to our 3D model viewer.

You can now combine 2D and 3D viewing through our two-part viewing.

Through our new "split view" you can choose between viewing the 3D model in full view or in combination with the 2D drawing. The drawing follows your position in the model to always show where you are in the building.

Improved workflow and visual changes.

Improvements have been made so that you can move around the model more easily. The measurement tool has been given a new look, the workflow for sectioning has been simplified and the filtering function of building information has been improved.

Closed registrations are removed from the APP + Automatic update of changes made on the WEB.

Removal of registrations older than 30 days (closed status)

In order to create a better overview of remaining registrations (open/ongoing), older registrations will now be removed from the App. All registrations that have had a closed status for longer than 30 days will no longer be visible. They will still be stored on the WEB, and if a registration is reopened, it will reappear in the APP.

Automatic update of registration from WEB

From now on, all new registrations and changes made on the WEB will be automatically synchronized to the app without you having to do anything. New and updated registrations will be highlighted in the list view with a clear blue colour.

Automatic synchronization of drawings and registrations

Drawings

When you upload a new drawing or revision of a drawing to IX Field WEB, these drawings are automatically synchronized to the APP. Within 1 - 2 min the drawing is ready for use out on the construction site.

     

All new drawings or revisions will be marked in blue as a notification that an update has occurred. The blue marking is removed when you access the drawing for the first time or after 48 hours from when your device has detected that an update has occurred.

Single registration

When you register a new issue or observation in the app, either from the home screen or drawings, all registrations will now be automatically synced after you press the 'Save' button.

     

You will see a message when the synchronization is in progress.
When the sync is complete, you will be notified with a message at the top of the screen.

To ensure that you always have the latest updates in an existing registration, a check is now done to check if you are missing the latest changes. If there is content that has not been downloaded, this will be done automatically when you enter the registration.
 

Checklist

The same goes for checklists. The checklist is uploaded automatically when you press the 'Save' button.
You can attach as many registrations (documentation/issues) to the checklist, but the registrations sync only when you save the checklist.

Control of addons in apartments

We now offer the opportunity to upload a compilation list of all addons that can be used as a basis in a checklist on the construction site. In this way, you as an installer or executing controller can get an overview of which addons are installed or if something is installed incorrectly or has damage.

Minor improvement and bug fixes. 

In the new list view, the first parameter containing information is displayed if none of the fields (ref. priority list shown in 3.8.17) are filled in. Whether it's a plain text field or list values.

The list view has now been improved. The new list view highlights the text you're searching for and moves most relevant matches to the top of the list. We have made some adjustments visually that will make it easier for you as a user to gain insight into registrations. This means that each individual registrations is more clearly visible, with a bigger focus on the description and clearer coloring based on the status and deadline.

This version also includes an improvement in registrations, as mandatory fields are now highlighted to help you fill in the correct information.

Bug fixes

• Signing reports in checklists without leaving the form- The option to sign a completed checklist was only available after the checklist was saved. Now the ‘Generate and sign report’ option is enabled after as soon as all required inputs in the checklist are entered.

• Deleting issues within a checklist- Issues that were reported within a checklist were not deleted when a checklist was deleted.
  
                                   

• Newly created checklists not displayed in Calendar view- If a new checklist was created from the Calendar page in the APP, that checklist was not immediately shown in the list below the calendar.
  
  

Improvements

• Ordering ‘Assignee' in alphabetical order- If new assignee is added from the APP, they were not added to the list in alphabetical order. Now the ‘Responsible/Assignee’ list will always be ordered alphabetically.

Faster registration workflow (Recent types and Checklist Issues)

All the latest registrations are now going to be saved in ‘Recent types’ whenever you choose to create a new issue. Selecting any one of these recent types will give you a faster way of registering issues with same subprojects and drawings.

New workflow for Recent types:

• Create new registration

• Select a Recent type (saves up to 3 recently registered type of issues)

• Save Symbol position on drawing

• Take a photo

• Write a comment

• Complete the registration or Save

The same flow will be used when you create directly from a checklist. 

 

Change drawing in Checklists

If you have existing Checklists that have not yet been synced to the web, and you want to report issues on checkpoints but on a different drawing, you can now do that using the new floating button on top of the pdf drawing, which will take you to the Select drawing screen where you can change and save the issue on a different drawing.
