In this article, you get an introduction to the page where you work with drawings, files and models.

Drawings

Structure

Under drawings, you can build up your own sub-projects (folder structure with properties). The user can create a sub-project by pressing the "+ icon" on the left above the list view.

Properties (settings for subproject):

• Assign user groups to the subproject
  The project administrator can manage the rights of which user groups have access to the folder. (Link to how to set this up. click here)
  
  
• Assign symbol families for this subproject
  The project administrator can decide which symbol types can be created in the folder.

Underlying folders

Several folders can be created under sub-projects. Here, drawings can be uploaded, marked and made ready for use on the construction site via the IX Field APP.

Drawing functionality:

1. Download drawing
   If desired, the user can download the drawing locally to their computer.
   
   
2. Visualize drawing
   By opening the drawing, it opens the possibility to view, create and make changes to registrations.
   
   
3. Draw Polygons
   In order to obtain control/room information on registrations, this must be set up. (follow this link to see how this can be set up and used. Click here. )
   
   
4. Open the BIM viewer
   If there is a model available, the model will open when you press the "cube icon".
   
   
5. File version
   Can view and download previous revisions of the drawing.
   
   
6. Delete/deactivate
   A drawing in IX Field cannot be deleted, but deactivated. This is done by pressing the trash can icon.
   
   
7. Label drawings
   Link labels to drawings to make the filtering process easier both on the web and in the APP.

How to filter using the tags

The categories that have been assigned to the drawings can be found again in the filter function above the list view. All the categories will be displayed with a drop-down list". Tap on the desired category and select the brand by which the list view should be filtered. One brand can be chosen per category, but there are no restrictions on which combinations can be chosen across the categories. If the drawing list is empty, it is because no drawings have the selected combination. Both the tag filtering function and the search field filter across folders. The "- icon" can be used to reset the filtering that has been done.

(NOTE! The search field searches the contents of the drawing name, not the marks.)

Files

Under files, you can upload other PDF files to be used on the construction site. You can also build your own folder structure here based on your own wishes.

(Note! The PDF file can only be on one page as the App supports the presentation of files with several pages.)

Model

Under model tab you can upload model files (IFC format). One or more files can be uploaded.
