We’re excited to share our new sectioning tool – Section Box, along with an improvement to the cross-measurement functionality.

1. New Feature: Section Box – for precise and efficient inspection

You can now easily isolate an object and its surrounding elements in the model using our new Section Box feature. By selecting an object and activating the Section Box, cutting planes are automatically placed around it. These can be freely adjusted to limit the view and focus precisely on what you want to inspect more closely.

This makes it easier to:

• Study complex areas without distractions from the rest of the model

• Reveal details that might otherwise be hard to see

• Communicate more clearly with colleagues by sharing focused views

1. Improvement: More precise cross-measurement with adjustable endpoints

We’ve enhanced our cross-measurement tool so you can now adjust which edges the measurement targets. Previously, measurements were locked to the nearest fixed points – now you’re in full control.

With this update, you can:

• Move measurement points outward to hit the exact edge or surface you need

This gives you greater control and improved accuracy for inspections and follow-up in the model.
