New release for Interaxo BIM Data Web
This release adds support for the new property groups in Revit 2024 and later, lets you copy Deliveries when you start a project from an existing project or template, and makes the Delivery summary easier to read. It also includes security improvements and a number of bug fixes.
New features and improvements
Parameters
New Revit property groups (Revit 2024 and later)
From Revit 2024, Autodesk organizes properties in new property groups. Interaxo BIM Data now supports these groups, so the parameters and custom properties you create end up in the group you choose in Revit.
- New projects use the new Revit property groups from the start.
- Existing projects keep the old property groups until an administrator upgrades the project. When a project has data synchronized from Revit 2024 or later, an Upgrade button is shown on the project page.
- The upgrade applies to the whole project and all its models, and it can't be undone. Upgrade all Revit models to 2024 or later and synchronize them before you upgrade the project.
- Property groups are now shown with readable names instead of technical names.
Archicad 29
- The Parameter Wizard and the Create property dialog now warn you that IFC properties are not available for Archicad 29 and later. We recommend using Archicad properties for all data you want to synchronize with these models.
Project Configuration
- When you create a project from an existing project or a template, you can now choose to copy its Deliveries.
Status Board
- The Delivery summary is easier to read. Each Delivery now shows the number of parameters instead of the full list; click the eye icon to see them all.
Data Grid
- Go to Item now opens the item in a new browser tab, so you keep your place in the grid and in the object details while working on details within an item.
Images
- Choosing which categories a tag applies to is now easier, with the same category picker that is used elsewhere in Interaxo BIM Data.
Design Tool Client
- The Archicad category and classification mapping now matches Archicad Classification 2.0. It takes effect with this release together with Design Tool Client 30.30.1 for Archicad.
Bug fixes
Parameters
- Fixed an issue where custom properties were always created in the “Text” group in Revit instead of the group you selected.
- Fixed an issue where parameters could not be created from properties in the Revit “Other” group (Revit 2025 and later).
- Fixed an issue where creating a custom property for Archicad or IFC (Simplebim) failed for an existing parameter.
- Fixed an issue where Edit parameter in the right-click menu only worked for Instance parameters, not for Room and Type parameters.
Project Configuration
- Fixed an issue where the Create, Edit and Delete buttons for category collections did not respond.
Status Board
- When a category name on a card is shortened, you can now hover over it to see the full name.
Reporting
- Fixed an issue where “Created by” was missing in the report archive for Report including changes.
Changes
- Changelogs now only include changes in models you have access to.
- Fixed an issue where objects did not change state when parameters synchronized to Interaxo BIM Data were updated from Revit 2024 or 2025.
Permissions
- The Add button for concept objects is now only active for users who have permission to create them.
Security
- We have strengthened how Interaxo BIM Data keeps data separate between companies and projects. This covers report generation, copying projects and access checks for administrators.
