If you want generate QR-codes in reports you can use Words build in function to accomplish this.

To make this work all you need to do is create a field(Ctrl+F9) that contains:

DISPLAYBARCODE "{${parameterName}}" QR \q 0 \s 200

Where you replace the blue part of text with the parameter you want to generate a QR-code from.
This can be a link to a webpage with more information about the object or anything you would want. 

And the red part is where you add switches and to control size and quality of the code.
