Searching
In the Interaxo BIM Data - Data grid view you can search all the different columns (parameters) to filter out the information(values) interesting to you.
Type the value you want to search for in the column's search box. The lines are filtered immediately when you start typing. If the text you write is included somewhere in the value, the object is filtered on this.
You can also search by exact value by clicking the down arrow in the search box and selecting Explicit. Here you can also do negative searches and e.g. Multi search. With Multi search you can search for several different values by typing them separated by commas.
There are multiple ways you can search listed below:
Empty | Only show rows with empty values. |
Not empty |
Only show rows with values. |
Negative | Filter out rows that contains what has been inputed in the search box. |
Explicit | Values must match exactly. |
Multi search / Multi Negative search | Search for multiple things comma seperated. |
Group columns/parameters
You can also group one or more columns. If you group a column, all objects with the same value in the column are grouped under a heading. You can group on several columns and they will be grouped hierarchically.
For instance if only you want to work with one level at time or if you want to check how many doors of a specific type you have in your project.
If you click on the edit pen in front of a grouped row, you edit everyone in that group.
Sorting
If you would like to view your data in the grid in a particular manner you can sort the rows in the grid based on the values of different parameters.
This can be done quickly by clicking on the column header, or you can click the column settings button.
Tip: If you want to sort information by more than one column you can hold the Shift button while clicking the column header to sort by multiple columns!
