Introduction
You need to have Bookmarks configured in your project to work efficiently. You can create your own or use public Bookmarks created by others.
A Bookmark filter all information to make it easier to reach specific information in the project.
Bookmarks will include: Grid filters (Object Categories and Type), Models and Levels (including Phases and Object States), Sorting, Grouping and Filter(Search) strings and visible Columns.
Selection of objects is optional and can be saved in a Bookmark if needed.
This will make it easier for users to share the same settings in the Grid View. What information a users can view is controlled by permissions, by access to particular models or parameter groups.
Bookmarks can be private or public. Public bookmarks can be used by all users and can only be edited by the person who created the bookmark or the administrator. Private bookmarks are only seen by the person who created them plus the administrator.
Note! Bookmarks created with a selection of one or more categories become a Bookmark with the new features.
If you create a Bookmark with no selection of categories, what the 'Skip' (full data) button does creates Bookmarks with the properties like the previous Lists.
Grid filters are either made by Company administrators and are available as public Grid Filters in all projects or they can be created within the project.
Grid filters are created to be able to focus on one or more categories within the project. To be able to use these Grid Filters in Bookmarks we recommend that they are made public in case you would like to create a public Bookmark as well.
Examples of Grid filters can be 'Furniture' which contains categories such as Furnitures, LightFixtures, SystemFurnitureElements. Other can contain only one category such as Doors
