File Packages – gather and share files and entries in a single package

With the new File Packages feature, you can gather files and published entries from multiple rooms into a single package, and distribute it collectively to recipients internally and externally — with full control over who has access, and for how long.

What's new?

Once File Packages is enabled for a folder, you can:

• gather files and published entries from multiple rooms into a single file package, via a clipboard
• choose whether the package should be static (the content is frozen as it was when the package was sent) or dynamic (always shows the latest published revision)
• distribute the package to internal members and/or external recipients via email, with a personal, time-limited link per recipient
• set an expiry date for access, or leave it open with no expiry
• see in the log who the package has been distributed to, and who has actually downloaded it
• close access to a distributed package at any time — recipients' links immediately stop working, and you can edit the package's content again

What does this mean for you?

• You no longer need to share files one by one — everything is gathered in a single distribution
• You always have an overview of who has been given access, and who has downloaded it
• Recipients can't see each other or each other's activity, so you can safely distribute e.g. tender documentation to competing bidders
• You decide how long access should last, and can close it at any time

File Packages is available to all customers, but must be enabled for the desired folder by a room or project administrator via the folder settings. Read more here.
