This article will provide an introduction to how you as a user can create labels, assign drawings to these labels and how they can be used in searches to find desired drawings.
How to create tags at the template or project level:
Project template
To create labels at template level, it is assumed that the user has sufficient rights (role: account admin).
The value of being able to create labels in the project template is that it makes it possible to ensure that all projects are based on a common system and ensures that the most important labels are in place when the project starts.
Here are the steps to set it up:
- Log in with your user to Interaxo Field WEB.
- Go to the overview of the project templates you have access to.
- Go into the desired template and find the "Labels" tab.
- Press "+ icon". (You can find it on the right-hand side)
-
Give the "category" a name and tap the "+ icon" to add "labels".
There is no limit to how many labels can be created per category, but it is recommended to limit to the most necessary as these values will be used as part of the filtering in the APP.
- Return to the project overview.
- Create project based on the project template.
- Enter the project.
Project level
In order to create labels at project level, it is assumed that the user has the rights of a "project admin".
As an addition to create labels from the project template, it will also be possible to add project-adapted labels. These can be created / edited throughout the construction period.
Here are the steps to set it up:
- Log in with your user to Interaxo Field WEB.
- In the project list, select the desired project.
- Go to project settings through the menu on the left.
- Click on "Labels".
- Click on "+ icon".
- Give the category a name and click on the "+ icon" to add "labels".
There is no limit to how many tags can be created per category, but it is recommended to limit to the most necessary as these values will be used as part of the filtering in the APP.
- Close the page and it is ready to add labels to drawings.
How to add labels to a drawing:
(NOTE! The labels can only be placed on drawings, not files, folders or other documents. They can only have one tag per category)
This is the procedure:
- Go to Drawings & files through the menu on the left.
- You can add labels to one or more drawings at the same time.
-
One drawing:
-
-
- Click on the "- icon" behind the drawing name.
- Select the labels from the categories in the list.
- Click on "save".
- The label is now attached to the drawings and appears in column behind the drawing name.
-
-
-
Multiple drawings at the same time:
-
-
- Select the drawings to add labels.
- Click on the " - icon" which is above the drawing list. (to the left of the - icon)
- Select the labels from the categories in the list.
- Press "save".
- The labels are now attached to the drawings and appear in column behind the drawing name.
-
-
(NOTE! If the drawing already has labels attached, these will be replaced with the new ones selected in this step)
How to filter using the labels:
The labels that have been assigned to the drawings can be found again in the filter function at the top. All the categories will be displayed with a "drop-down" per category to the left of the search field. Click on the desired category and select the label by which the list view is to be filtered by. Only one label can be chosen per category, but there are no restrictions on which combinations can be chosen across the categories. If the drawing list is empty, it is because no drawings have the selected combination. Both the label filtering function and the search field filter across folders.
The "- icon" can be used to reset the filtering that has been done.
(NOTE! The search field searches the contents of the drawing name, not the labels.)
