Summary:
In this user guide, you will learn how to:
1. Getting Started - How to navigate between Registrations and Inspections, and search for a registration.
2. What You Can Do - Understand filtering, sorting, and how to open a registration to continue working on it.
3. Step by Step - Review of search, filter, and sorting, along with tips for effective use.
This page provides a consolidated overview of all registrations and inspections in the app. Here you can find previous registrations, filter between registrations and inspections, search for a specific registration, and open a registration to read or edit its content. This makes it easier to keep track of the work done and quickly return to registrations that need follow-up or updating.
The following topics are described:
1.0 Purpose
The purpose of the list is to display all registrations and inspections created in the project. Here you can find previous registrations, filter between registrations and inspections, search for a specific registration, and open a registration to view or edit its content.
2.0 Registrations and Inspections
At the top of the page, you can choose between two tabs:
- Registrations – shows all completed registrations.
- Inspections – shows all completed inspections.
Tap the desired tab to switch views. The content in the list below updates automatically.
Note: The filtering option (section 4.0) is only available under the Registrations tab. Under the Inspections tab, you only have search and sorting.
3.0 Searching for Registrations
In the middle of the page, you will find a search field.
- Tap in the field and enter the title of the registration you want to find.
- The list below filters as you type, so only matches fitting the search are shown.
- Clear the search field to show all registrations/inspections again by tapping the cross in the search field.
Tip! Use the search when the list is long or when you know the title of the registration you are looking for.
4.0 Filtering
The filter function allows you to narrow the list to show only registrations that meet one or more criteria. You can filter by model, geographic map area, process type, responsible party, and date – and combine these to further refine the search. Filtering is only available under the Registrations tab.
How to open the filter panel:
- Tap the filter icon (funnel-shaped icon) at the top right of the registration list.
- The filter panel opens with the heading “Filter by.”
- Set desired filters and tap “Apply filter” to activate filtering. The button is enabled (dark blue) when at least one filter is selected.
- Tap “Reset filter” at the top right of the filter panel to remove all active filters at once.
When at least one filter is active, a small blue dot appears on the filter icon, so you can easily see that the list is filtered.
Tip! You can combine several filters at the same time. Example: select model + map area + date range to find exactly the registrations you are looking for.
4.1 Model
Filter registrations linked to a specific model (location) in the project.
- Tap the dropdown menu under “Model.”
- Select the desired model from the list.
- The list updates automatically to show only registrations associated with the selected model.
Tap “Remove” next to “Model” to remove this filter.
4.2 Map
The map filter allows you to narrow the list to show only registrations placed within a geographic area you draw yourself on the map. This is useful on projects with registrations spread over a larger geographic area, where you want to see activity in a specific zone.
How to use the map filter:
- Tap the “Select Map” button in the “Map” section of the filter panel. The map opens in full screen.
- Use the dropdown menu to select a map if necessary.
- The blue shaded area indicates the zone that will be used for filtering.
- Navigate to the desired area by panning and zooming on the map.
- Tap the green confirmation button to save the selected area.
- Back in the filter panel, a thumbnail of the selected map section is now displayed. The filter is ready to use.
- Tap “Apply filter” to activate the map filter. The list will now show only registrations located within the selected area.
Note! The map filter means that only registrations with a geographic location within the selected area will be shown. Registrations without map coordinates will not be displayed even if they meet other filter criteria.
4.3 Process Type
Filter by a specific process type linked to the registrations.
- Tap the dropdown menu under “Process Type.”
- Select the desired process type from the list.
- The list updates and now shows only registrations of the selected type.
Tap “Remove” next to “Process Type” to remove this filter.
4.4 Step
Filter on which step the registrations are in.
- Tap the drop-down menu under «Step».
- Select the desired step from the list.
- The list updates and now shows only registrations in the selected step.
Tap «Remove» next to «Step» to remove this filter.
Note! Which steps are shown in the list depends on how the processes in the project are set up.
4.4 Responsible
Filter by who is set as responsible for the registration.
- Tap the dropdown menu under “Responsible.”
- Search for and select the desired person or group from the list (the same searchable list as in the Assignee(s) field on a registration).
- The list updates and now shows only registrations where the selected person or group is set as responsible.
Tap “Remove” next to “Responsible” to remove this filter.
4.5 Date
Filter registrations created within a specific time period.
- Tap the “From” field and select a start date in the date picker.
- Tap the “To” field and select an end date.
- The list shows registrations created between the two specified dates.
You can set only one date (e.g., just “From”) to filter from a specific time forward. Tap “Remove” next to “Date” to remove the date range.
5.0 Sorting
The sorting function lets you determine the order in which registrations and inspections are displayed in the list. This makes it easier to find what you’re looking for, whether you prefer an alphabetical overview or want to see the newest work at the top. Sorting is available under both tabs.
How to change sorting:
- Tap the sorting icon at the top of the registration list (located to the left of the filter icon).
- Choose the desired sorting order from the bottom menu “Sort by”:
- Newest first – shows the newest/last modified registration at the top.
- Oldest first – shows the oldest registration at the top.
- Alphabetical (A-Z) – sorts the list alphabetically in ascending order by title.
- Alphabetical (Z-A) – sorts the list alphabetically in descending order by title.
- The list updates immediately after you make a selection.
Note! The default sorting is “Newest first,” so the most recently updated registrations always appear at the top when you open the list.
6.0 Opening and Continuing Work on a Registration
Once you have found the registration in the list:
- Tap the row once.
- You will then enter the registration itself, where you can:
- Read all information.
- Add or change content (if you have access).
For more detailed information on how to work with registrations, see:
How to register and follow up on issues,
How to create and assign tasks
How to create and edit documentation.
For more detailed information on how to work with inspections, see How to work with inspections.
Tip! If you do not want to use the model or map directly, use this page as your starting point each time you want to access previous work, check what has been done, or continue with an ongoing registration or inspection.
7.0 Tips for Use
- Write the most important information first so it appears in the list view. This makes it easier to find them again in the list.
- Date/time makes it easy to identify the correct registration if you have multiple registrations with similar names.
- If the list gets long, consistently use the search field to save time.
- Combine filters to narrow the search effectively – for example, model + date range if you are looking for registrations done in a specific part of the project within a given timeframe.
- Use the map filter when working on a project with many registrations spread over a large area. This way, you avoid scrolling through the entire list and quickly find what is relevant to your location.
- Use the Responsible filter when you want to quickly see what is assigned to a specific person or group.
- Sort the list alphabetically (A-Z) if you remember the title of the registration but not when it was created – this can be faster than using the search field.
- Remember to tap “Reset filter” when you are done filtering so you don’t miss registrations the next time you open the list.
